One last special case right before I uninstalled the game, I started a Team match with Hanzo, and the game crashed. I found it in Task Manager as a background process and it once again could not be forcibly shut down. There is a rare occasion where the game shuts down entirely, but theīattle net hub says the game is being played. Battle net still records HOTS as being played. Not by right clicking the dash icon to close window, not using task manager to end task. When I first encounter the enemy? The game pauses, goes from fullscreen to windowed mode, window is pure black, cannot be interacted with, and cannot be shut down in any manner. Logging in is just fine, browsing the menues is fine, selecting a hero and starting a game is fine, leaving base is fine. If this has been done wrong, please tell me, the needed format was a bit vague. Literally nothing else is actively running when I boot the game.
I have run everything from the trouble shooting. 12 hours later, the same problems return. I recently tried again, and actually got a result that got the game working for about 4 games.
This started about June, and I just stopped trying after a week of failure.
